Should we make the trip to Versailles? Would we get rained on and not be able to enjoy the gardens? This litany went on for days after we arrived in Paris. Even though we had visited the marvelous “City of Lights” before, we never got around to visiting Versailles. I was hell bent on seeing it this time. Yes, it did drizzle but that did not diminish our enjoyment one bit. If anything, the inclement weather produced dramatic skies and diffused light; my favorite conditions in which to photograph.
